Agadir is Morocco's main beach resort, and a desert trip is the most rewarding way to break up a seaside holiday. The road east passes the walled city of Taroudant and climbs through Taliouine, the heart of Morocco's saffron country, before reaching Ouarzazate and the valleys leading to the Sahara.
Merzouga is about 680 km from Agadir, so the three-day trip includes some long driving days, especially the return. If you have more time, four or five days makes it far more relaxed. We can also collect you from Taghazout and other resorts along the coast.
